The soundfont here is actually the soundfont used for the Cave Story+ WiiWare soundtrack, which was composed entirely as a set of MIDIs. Here's a link to the MIDIs and the soundfont:

Also, while we're talking about Cave Story, here's an interesting bit of history regarding that soundtrack: The version that everyone knows of was messed up pretty thoroughly by Nicalis, as per usual, because they didn't understand how to implement playing back MIDIs with a soundfont. They went for the alternative of getting a grown-up to convert them to oggs and then crushing them to be as low-quality as possible to decrease the file size. Everyone promptly assumed the composer, Yann van Der Cruyssen, intentionally made the songs this way.
Someone eventually corrected the bullshit Nicalis did to the soundtrack (though without access to the original MIDIs) and released it as "Cave Story: Wii-Balanced".

I'm pretty sure this just cemented the notion that the botched soundtrack was intended to be canonical, but props to SoloMael nonetheless.
So anyway I find it funny everyone recognizes that Nicalis fucks over the developers they contract, but just blank out on the notion that they also fuck over their musicians. See also: Ridiculon getting a month to compose their CS+ soundtrack, and the result being widely regarded as "evidence" that they're just talentless hacks.
And that was a long and irrelevant commentary on a track that amounts to "hey I have OpenMPT and know how to import MIDI soundfonts."
